Page 235 - Our Armpits Will Smell Better in 2021

Happy End of 2020, fellow armpit lovers!  Boy, have I got some good news for anyone who fears their pits have become more pungent than usual over the course of this year.

First, did you know that your pit odor contains clues about you?

Let's begin with some interesting info.

FACTS:

The underarm is a complex and bustling place that is ripe for exploration.  Most of us have billions of bacteria living in each armpit.  Scientists are finding reason to pay attention to body odours.  The scents we exude can contain powerful clues about our health, emotional state, and identity.

In recent years, studies have suggested that moods such as fear, disgust, and happiness can be communicated through volatile compounds in human underarm sweat, as well as distinguishing gender and age.  ---  Hmmm, so this might explain why we're so attracted to the pits of happy, hunky, horny, virile men! 😄👃👍

Other research suggests illnesses, from infections to even cancer, can be detected through body odour. And some scientists hypothesize that we each have a distinct "odour print," such as fingerprints, that could be used to verify who we are.

I'm sure everyone would agree that 2020 has been a rather stressful and depressing year.  However, now that we have a vaccine for COVID-19, and some brand-new United States leadership on the way, life in the New Year is predicted to eventually be a lot less stressful and much happier.

MY THEORY:

So, after reading all this science, what's the good news for Axilla Aficionados of the world ?

Our armpits will smell a whole lot better in 2021.

Okay, maybe not immediately on January 1st, but give it some time.  With less stress and depression in our lives, our underarms are naturally going to be more pleasant to sniff,... and no doubt taste! 

Well Pit Pals, I hope you found this blog entry informative.  May it inspire you to find a hairy hunk and ask him to conduct an experiment with you this New Year's Eve.  At the stroke of midnight you both should lick each other's pits, compare notes, then do it again on December 31, 2021 to prove my theory.  ---  Tell him it's for science. 😊
