Page 397 - Manny the Macho with Manly Armpits: A Pit Poem

Greetings, lovers of poetry and pits!  Recently I experienced some loss in my life and decided to cope with my sadness by composing a little fantasy poem.  ---  A fantasy PIT POEM that is!

* * * * * * * * *

MANNY THE MACHO

WITH MANLY ARMPITS

Oh, Manny the Macho with manly armpits

Died suddenly while in his sleep.

Reports of his passing spread all over town,

Thus causing pit lovers to weep.

His eulogy spoke of a masculine man

So handsome and so debonair,

A muscular body, a devilish smile,

And big busy underarm hair! 

One morning while Manny was dressing for work,

His Right Guard did sputter and stall.

But taking a whiff of his masculine pits

He stopped using Right Guard at all.

He worked in construction, and never wore shirts,

His armpits he'd boldly display!

Whenever he hammered a nail overhead

Onlookers turned giddy and gay!

The guys that he worked with would never complain

When Manny would toil and perspire.

His pits smelled of cedar and cinnamon too,

Both smells that men wholly desire.

Though Manny the Macho got wed very young,

His bride was not into his pits.

So, sadly just months after saying "I do" 

Both he and his wife called it quits.

Soon Manny discovered his inner gay self

And found himself many a fella!

Guys desperately wanted to take him on dates

And eagerly lick his axilla!

The day of his service the church pews were packed,

With men folk from cities and farms.

They gathered to honor the memorable hulk,

As well as his hot underarms.

The casket was opened, so mourners filed by,

Soon sobbing turned to smiles instead!

For Manny the Macho lay shirtless and proud

Both hands resting behind his head!

"In lieu of fresh flowers give someone a hug!"

Folks said that's the right thing to do.

But, strangely enough the whole church had a smell

Of cedar and cinnamon too. 😉

A toast to dear Manny the muy macho man,

A toast to his pitters, "Adieu!"

You know life's too short, so seek passion and joy,

Plus, go lick a pitter or two!

NOTE: Photos of the model I used to represent Manny, his friends and adoring fans were downloaded from my paid subscription to Dreamstime, a royalty-free, stock image provider.  All other clipart was found online.

Plus, I superimposed the fun, furry armpit hair to add some whimsy to the story.  Also, because the model mostly had shaved pits in his pictures, but I felt the character needed big bushy pits. 😍
