¡Saludos, fellow armpit lovers and movie fans! 2021's IN THE HEIGHTS was one of my favorite films of the year. Not just because I'm Hispanic and love musicals, but because it featured pits!
I'm sure many of you will argue that the musical TICK, TICK ...BOOM! deserves the top underarm honor, due to actor Andrew Garfield's scene in the swimming pool, featuring his mesmerizing armpit hair swishing to-and-fro.

While that movie was actually my number one favorite film overall, IN THE HEIGHTS was my favorite flick with major pit scenes.
In addition to it's stellar cast, fantastic songs, and thrilling dance numbers, it featured a smorgasbord of male underarms! Armpits in various colors, a few shaved, many hairy, some young and others not as young,... but all SEXY!

IN THE HEIGHTS is the big-screen adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tony award-winning Broadway musical of the same name. The movie premiered in cinemas on June 11, 2021, and at the same time on the HBO MAX streaming service, in order to reach a wider audience due to the pandemic.

The movie takes place in the neighborhood of Washington Heights, in New York City during a sizzling heat wave. So, you know what that means? Lots of tank tops worn by yummy Latino muchachos, revealing manly muscles and mighty-fine fit pits!

So many armpits are on full display during the rousing dance productions!
Lots of excited tank top hotties and many, many spirited shirtless hombres!
At times the scenes were a fantasy overload for me! Hundreds and hundreds of arms raised in joyous celebration!
Sadly, COVID-19 was running rampant in our city when the movie opened, so I had to see the film at home on HBO MAX. I would have preferred to have experienced the eye-popping spectacle at the local IMAX theater, where I surely would have gotten a bigger and better look at the luscious dark follicles sprouting from those gorgeous, Latino pitters! --- But hey, I'm so glad I got a chance to see the fantastic film.

My favorite armpit-sightings, are during the song "96,000", which features an exuberant choreographed production by the cast in an actual public swimming pool!
