Greetings, lovers of pits and poetry! It's late at night and I'm upset. You see, earlier this evening I had an argument with my hubby.
I've been alone in bed, sulking for several hours.
Just now, I finally decided to get up. In order to channel my frustrations, I've decided to be creative and compose a little poem. --- I hope you don't mind me venting a bit.
"MY PITS FADED AWAY!":
An Armpit Poem
"If you don't use it, you lose it"
Is what I've heard folks say.
Yet I never would image
My pits would fade away.
Oh, I thought they'd be right with me,
Until my final day.
But they got no love from no one
So they "sashayed away".
How I'll miss my hairy hollows,
And their musky bouquet.
Now there's stinkless holes residing
Under my arms today.
Guess I'll throw away my tank tops,
Or sell them on eBay.
Guess my sexy, armpit selfies
Are things of yesterday.
Dear, I begged you and I pleaded,
"My pitters need some play!"
But you scoffed and said that maybe
You'd try on my birthday.
Sweetie, no more need to worry,
Go head and shout "Hooray!"
For my love-starved pits decided
To simply fade away.
Now my heart is full of sorrow
I'm drunk on Cabernet.
I can't stop from eyes from crying,
My pain just won't alay.
No more will my poor pits be loved
In that real special way.
For they've gone to Armpit Heaven,
I'll join them there someday.

Well Pit Pals, thanks for letting me share my silly sonnet. Often it helps for me to just blog about stuff to get it out of my system. --- No doubt my husband and I need to have a really long talk tomorrow.
Anywho, I'm going try to go back to sleep and hopefully dream of happier days for me and my hairy pitters.
